Virtual: Rules
Virtual events are computer-generated videos, where you can bet on the outcome.
The results are determined by an accredited RNG (Random Number Generator), in which the first number generated decides the winner; the second decides the runner-up etc.
1. Bets on virtual racing are settled according to the same rules as 'real-world' horse or greyhound racing, and bets on other virtual sports are settled according to the same rules as those 'real-world' events.
2. Virtual selections don't qualify for bonuses and consolations.
3. The RTP (Return To Player) is between 45.25% and 95.23%, depending upon the sport and type of market. Click here to see a full breakdown.
4. The RTP reflects the theoretical return across a very large number of plays by numerous players over an extended period of time.
- The results for any given player over a play session can vary widely from this long-term, expected average in either direction.
- The fewer the number of games played, the wider the normal variance of actual payback that may be experienced.
5. The fairness of our Random Number Generator and our Virtual sports has been independently tested and certified by GLI Europe.
6. GLI Europe's evaluation of William Hill's hardware-based RNG (random number generator) was performed with the aim of verifying compliance with the following sets of standards:
- The Gambling Commission's Remote Gambling and Software Technical Standards, June 2007.
- Generally-accepted industry standards for highly-regulated jurisdictions
- William Hill's technical specifications for their software-based RNG.
