1. Unless detailed in these Special Event Rules, the maximum amount that can be won on any special event bet is governed by the conditions detailed in our Fair Deal Rules under Maximum Winnings.
2. Outright bets on special (non-sporting) events are subject to ante post conditions.
- Please refer to Rule 6 in the General Betting Rules section of our Fair Deal Rules.
- Bets are accepted for all special (non-sporting) events on which we offer odds.
3. Unless otherwise stated prior to the bet being placed, bets on a specific event to occur will stand for a period of 12 months after the bet is placed.
4. Outright bets on TV reality shows or TV specials that are cancelled before an official winner is declared will be settled as a dead heat between the contestants that haven'tbeen eliminated.
- Outright bets on contestants already eliminated will be treated as losing selections.
5. In TV reality shows, any person that departs voluntarily or is expelled from the show won't be classified as being evicted for the purpose of next eviction betting.
- Where more than one (1) person is evicted during the programme, the first person to be evicted will count as the next eviction - regardless of the number of votes polled.
6. In TV reality shows, other contestants may be added at any time.
- If they win, the event then stakes on other contestants will be lost, even if the bets were placed prior to the winning contestant entering the show.
7. In any other instance, William Hill Fair Deal Rules will apply.
Outright Prize Winner
Market description: Predict the winner of the prize.
- Unless stated otherwise, betting will only be available once the shortlist is announced.
White Christmas
- Settlement of bets will be determined by data supplied by The Met Office.
- They must verify that snow has fallen at the nominated location at any time during the 24 hours of the 25th December for bets to be winners.
- Single bets only are accepted.
- Accumulative bets that are accepted will be settled as singles with the stake apportioned.
- Bets are accepted only for locations at which there's an official Met Office unless advertised otherwise, in which case we'll nominate in advance the independent body who've agreed to monitor whether or not snow has fallen.
- Bets placed for locations not listed by us will be made void.
Christmas No. 1
- Settlement will be based on the last official Radio 1 pop chart to be released on or before the 25th December.
- Bets on performers/groups that don't release a record will be lost.
- Bets placed on an individual performer who combines with another performer(s) will be classed as losers unless the specific grouping is stipulated at the time the bet is placed.
Top TV Programme on Christmas Day
- Bets will be settled on the average overnight figures released by BARB immediately after the 25th December.
- Any subsequent amendments to their figures won't count for betting purposes.
- BARB figures are the official standard for the broadcasting industry.
Outright Winner
Market description: Predict the country that will win the competition.
Semi Final Winner
Market description: Predict which country will win the semi final.
Finishing Position of a Specific Country
Market description: Predict the finishing position of a specific country.
Maximum Points for a Specific Country
Market description: Predict whether any other country will award maximum points to a specific country.
Nil Points
Market description: Predict whether a specific country won't be awarded any points in the final.
Semi Final Qualification
Market description: Predict whether or not a specific country will qualify for the final.
Outright Award Winner
Market description: Predict the winner of the award.
- Only single bets are accepted.
- Any selections from the same awards event combined in accumulative bets will be settled as singles with the stake divided.
Outright Winner
Market description: Predict which competitor(s) will win the event.
- Stakes will be lost on any competitor who withdraws.
- In TV reality shows, other contestants may be added at any time.
- If they win, the event then stakes on other contestants will be lost - even if the bets were placed prior to the winning contestant entering the show.
Top Male
Market description: Predict the male competitor who will achieve the best placing.
- Stakes will be lost on any competitor who withdraws.
- In TV reality shows, other contestants may be added at any time.
- If they win the event, then stakes on other contestants will be lost - even if the bets were placed prior to the winning contestant entering the show.
Top Female
Market description: Predict the female competitor who will achieve the best placing.
- Stakes will be lost on any competitor who withdraws.
- In TV reality shows, other contestants may be added at any time.
- If they win the event, then stakes on other contestants will be lost - even if the bets were placed prior to the winning contestant entering the show.
Next Eviction
Market description: Predict which competitor will be the next to be evicted.

Maximum/Minimum Temperature
Market description: Predict whether the temperature will be higher or lower than a specified figure.
- Temperatures are shade temperatures and unless stated otherwise must be verified by an official met office/weather centre.
- Unless specified otherwise, bets stand until 31st December in the year in which bets are placed.
