Football Rules: Corners Double Result

Market description: Predict which team will take the most corners in the first half combined with which team will take the most corners during the whole match.

  • Example: Manchester United take four (4) corners in the first half of the match and Aston Villa two (2).
  • Manchester United take six (6) corners in the whole match and Aston Villa take seven (7).
  • The winning market will be Manchester United/Aston Villa.

1. Bets are settled on the events that occur in normal time. This includes any injury/stoppage time added on by the match official at the end of normal time.

2. Extra time doesn't count.

3. A corner awarded but not taken won't count.

4. A corner that's retaken on the instruction of the match official will only count once.

5. If a match is postponed, normal postponed match rules apply.

6. If a match is abandoned, normal abandoned match rules apply.

7. Settlement of all stats markets will be based on data provided by OPTA (Part of the Stats Perform Group).

  • OPTA stats are available here.
  • OPTA may occasionally go back and make amendments to ensure accuracy. We'll settle all markets based on their final decision.
  • Adjustments to the settlement of markets won't be made for changes or adjudications made by governing bodies after the event.
  • OPTA have a long-established list of ‘Event Definitions’ which are adhered to across all of their data collection centres. They can be accessed here.
