Football Rules: Multi Match - Match With Fastest Goal / Match With Fastest Goal Live

Match With Fastest Goal

Market description: Select the match in which the fastest goal will be scored from the nominated group of matches.

1. Bets are settled on the events that occur in normal time. This includes any injury/stoppage time added on by the match official at the end of normal time.

2. Extra time doesn't count.

3. Bets are settled on elapsed match time.

  • Example: Arsenal v Man Utd kicks off at 3 PM and a goal was scored at the sixth (6th) minute.
  • Chelsea v Liverpool kicks off at 3:05 PM and a goal was scored at the third (3rd) minute.
  • Chelsea v Liverpool is the match with the fastest goal.

4. Dead heat rules apply and settlement will be based upon the minute of the match that the goal is scored.

5. Seconds won't be taken in to consideration.

6. If a match is postponed, normal postponed match rules apply.

7. If a match is abandoned, normal abandoned match rules apply.

  • If a winning selection has been established in the time played before abandonment, bets placed on that selection will have already won and will be settled as winners. Bets placed on other selections will have already lost.
  • If a match is abandoned and no winning selection has been established in the time played before abandonment, bets placed will be void because a match didn't play for the full duration.

8. Settlement of all stats markets will be based on data provided by OPTA (Part of the Stats Perform Group).

  • OPTA stats are available here.
  • OPTA may occasionally go back and make amendments to ensure accuracy. We'll settle all markets based on their final decision.
  • Adjustments to the settlement of markets won't be made for changes or adjudications made by governing bodies after the event.
  • OPTA have a long-established list of ‘Event Definitions’ which are adhered to across all of their data collection centres. They can be accessed here.
