How can I withdraw by Bank Transfer?


NOTES:
  • Deposit option for Bank Transfer payments is discontinued since the 30th of March 2022.
  • We accept all currencies except USD.
  • Refrain from special characters when entering your bank details upon registration (e.g. */-#&().,<>?:;”[]{}+).
 
 

What are the withdrawal limits for Bank Transfer?

 

  • The withdrawal will be issued via Bank Transfer.
  • You may be asked to send some identification documents. Click here for more information.
  • In the rare event you haven't received your funds within the timeframe stated above, please allow up to 10 working days before contacting Customer Service.
  • Delays may be connected to issues with your bank - if we need any further details from you, we'll reach out to you.
  • William Hill doesn't charge any fees for Bank Transfer transactions. However, your bank may charge you for handling the bank transfer.
  • Please consult your bank for more information regarding the charges.

How do I withdraw by Bank Transfer?

 

To request withdrawal by Bank Transfer, follow these simple and easy steps:

1. Click on the Balance icon at the top of the page, then select 'Withdraw'.

2. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw and click on 'Withdraw'.

3. The Bank Transfer option will be presented to you.

4. Click on the 'Bank Transfer' link to fill out your bank details.

 

  • Bank name (full name of your bank)
  • Bank address (complete address of your bank including postal code and country)
  • Account Holder's name (your name exactly as it's registered with your bank)
  • Account Number (your 8 digit bank account number)
  • Sort Code (your 6 digit sort code)
  • Amount (specify the amount you wish to withdraw from your account)
  • Bank name (full name of your bank)
  • Bank address (complete address of your bank including postal code and country)
  • Account Holder's name (your name exactly as it's registered with your bank)
  • IBAN number (include the full International Bank Account Number - you'll find it on your bank statement)
  • BIC/SWIFT (the full Bank Identifier Code - you'll find it on your bank statement or on your bank's web site)
  • Amount (specify the amount you wish to withdraw from your account)
  • For Canadian bank transfers, you can follow the format:
  • Bank Name: (full name of bank)
  • Bank Address: (complete address of your bank including postal code and country)
  • Account Name: (your name exactly as it's registered with your bank)
  • IBAN Number: ((include the full International Bank Account Number - you'll find it on your bank statement, e.g. CAD: IE05AIBK93006726409852)
  • Bank Swift/BIC Code: (the full Bank Identifier Code - you'll find it on your bank statement or on your bank's web site, e.g. AIBKIE2D)
  • Account Number: 15 digits consisting of: Financial Institution code (3 digits), Branch Transit Number (5 digits), and Account Number (7 digits)
  • Amount: (specify the amount you wish to withdraw from your account)

 

NOTES: Currently, withdrawals by Bank Transfer aren't available for residents of: 

  • Kazakhstan
  • Kuwait
  • Malaysia
  • Mauritius
  • North Macedonia
  • Customers residing in Japan may use JETON (5 to 10 working days timeframe) and Ecopayz.
  • While your withdrawal request is being approved, you'll be able to reverse it (click here for more information). After that, you'll no longer be able to reverse it and your funds will be processed back to you within 1 to 10 working days.

 

5. Click 'Continue'.

6. Check the amount and click 'Withdraw'.

7. The next page will display request confirmation and William Hill transaction ID reference number should you need to query the transaction at any time.

This transaction ID will appear in your account statement.

What are the timescales for various bank transfers for withdrawals?

 

The cost of transfer service depends on your bank and may vary. Please consult your bank for more information on the charges.

For all three (3) types of Bank Transfers, you'll have to fill out a form provided by your local branch.

You'll be required to provide the following details, depending on your type of Bank Transfer payment:

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Requirements

 

As part of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirement, William Hill now requires these documents in all Bank Transfer withdrawal requests:

  • Proof of Bank Account (should be a bank statement that corresponds to your registered bank transfer details: Customer's Name, bank letterhead and Account number/IBAN)
  • Valid ID [Driving License, Passport, National Identity Card, Electoral ID, Residence Permit, Age Card and Citizencard/Yoti Citizencard (UK only)]

 

NOTE: Proof of Bank Account Validity

  • For UK Bank Transfers: Issued in the last three (3) months.
  • For International Bank Transfers: Issued in the last six (6) months.
