What are the Pro Racecard, Place Markets, Money Back Markets and Betting Without options on the Horse Racing coupon?

These markets offer alternative Horse Racing bets from a regular Win or Each Way.

Pro Racecard

The Pro Racecard gathers together the top market from Place MarketsMoney Back Markets and Betting Without, as well as the standard Win market. See below for more information about how each of these markets work.

Place Markets

Place Only betting gives a price for each horse just to finish in the given places.

Example: If you choose a selection from the Place Only 3 column, it'll be a winner if:

  • The horse finishes first, second or third.
  • You'll be paid out at the same price whichever of the top three places it finishes in.
  • If your horse finished fourth or below, it will be a loser.

Money Back Markets (formerly Insurance Markets)

Money Back bet is a bet on a horse to win, but your stake will be returned if the horse finishes in one of the remaining places.

Example: If you take a price from the Money Back 2nd column:

  • If your horse finishes first, you'll win at that price.
  • If it comes second, your stake will be refunded.
  • If it comes third and below, your bet will be a loser.

Betting Without

If you place a bet on a Betting Without market, the finishing position for one or more horses is ignored when working out whether your bet is a winner.

Example (in the image above):

  • If you take a selection from the first column, no other horses are ignored so you're betting on the standard win market.
  • If you choose from the second column, G'day Aussie finishing position is ignored so your bet wins if your horse either finishes first or G'day Aussie finishes first and your horse finishes second.
  • Bets from the third column will win if your horse wins the race, or finishes second behind either G'day Aussie or Goodwood Moonlight, or finishes third if G'day Aussie and Goodwood Moonlight make up the first two places.
