Promotional Terms and Conditions Terminology
We know that our Promotional Terms and Conditions contain jargon that you may or may not be familiar with (these are the ones we usually bold so they stand out).

Account |
Your online account with William Hill, which can be accessed via the Website or Mobile App. |

Main Balance |
The total funds that you have deposited into your Account, which you can withdraw as cash or wager in non-Promotion play at any time, as well as use to take part in promotions. |

Bonus Balance |
The total sum of all bonuses and Bonus Funds active on your Account which cannot be withdrawn as cash or wagered in non-Promotion play because they are subject to ongoing Promotional Play Restrictions (e.g. the Wagering Requirement has not been met). |

Bonus Funds |
Your Bonus plus any winnings from wagers placed using your Bonus which are allocated to your Bonus Balance, in accordance with the Promotion Terms. |
|
Total Balance |
The total sum contained in your Main Balance and your Bonus Balance, including your buy in balance. |
|
Buy-In Balance |
The total sum of your Buy-In Amount and any other funds from your Main Balance that you have committed in order to buy into any promotions on the Website or Mobile App (including any winnings from wagers made with such funds and which are allocated to your Buy-In Balance). |

Real Money Balance |
The total funds that you have deposited into your Poker Account and all winnings from those deposits, which you can withdraw as cash or wager in non-Promotion play at any time. |

Bonus Spins Bonus Funds |
Any winning accrued from Bonus Spins with defined terms attached to them. |
|
Bonus Money |
Bonus funds which are credited to your Poker Account when you take part in certain Bonus Money Promotions on the Website or Mobile App (including your Bonus Money Bonus). Bonus Money can be redeemed as real cash into your Real Balance if you complete certain wagering objectives (as specified in the applicable promotion terms). |

Cash Game Ticket (“CGT”) |
Any Bonus Funds credited to your Cash Game Ticket Balance as cash game tickets (including the cost of your CGT), which can be wagered on cash games on the Poker Software only. |

Cash Game Ticket Balance |
The total sum of all Cash Game Tickets credited to your Poker Account (including the cost of your CGT) which cannot be withdrawn as cash or wagered in non-promotion play because they are subject to ongoing Promotional Play Restrictions (e.g. the minimum number of WHPoints required to release the relevant Cash Game Ticket from the Cash Game Ticket Balance has not been achieved). |

Casino Bonus Balance |
The total sum of all Bonuses and Bonus Funds active on your Account (excluding any Cash Game Tickets) which cannot be withdrawn as cash or wagered in non-Promotion play because they are subject to ongoing Promotional Play Restrictions (e.g. the Wagering Requirements have not been achieved). |

Poker Account |
An online Account with William Hill enabling customers to participate in any of the poker games available from the "Poker" page on the Website or via the Poker Software. |

Poker Balance |
The separate funds wallet which contains all of the funds relating to your Poker Account only. |
|
SnG Ladder Tournaments |
The Sit & Go ladder tournaments which can be accessed via the "Sit & Go" tab on the Poker Software and which include "SNG Ladder" in their name. |

Twister Sit & Go Tournaments |
The Twister poker Sit & Go tournaments which can be accessed via the "Twister" tab on the Poker Software and which include "Twister" in their name. |

WHPoints |
Points that can be accumulated by customers when they take part in cash games or tournaments on the Poker Software. Customers will accumulate 10 WHPoints for every €1 raked hand on cash tables or for every €1 in tournament fees paid. |

Wild Twister Sit & Go Tournaments |
The Wild Twister poker Sit & Go tournaments which can be accessed via the "Twister" tab on the Poker Software and which include "Wild Twister" in their name. |

Net Winnings |
Net winnings (i.e. where the winnings you receive exceed your stakes) means the total sum of all your winnings from the Promotion Games during the Promotion Period less any stakes placed on the Promotion Games during the same period. For example, if you stake £20 and won £40, your net winnings are £20. |

Net Losses |
Net losses (i.e. where the stakes you have placed exceed your winnings) means the total sum of stakes placed using funds from your Main Balance on Promotion Games during the Promotion Period less any winnings from Promotion Games during the Promotion Period. For example, if you won £20 during the Promotion Period but you wagered £100, then your net losses would be £80. |

General Terms |
Refers to the non-promotional specific terms agreed to when signing up/ entering into a promotion. |

Prize |
A reward given to the winner of a competition. |
|
Maximum Redeemable |
The maximum amount converted to cash once the Wagering Requirements of a Promotion have been met. |

KQC |
Key qualifying criteria needed to be met in order to obtain/qualify for the Promotion. |

Promotion |
From time to time, we run promotions on our site to enhance a player’s enjoyment of our products. These could be open to all or customer specific. Please be sure to always read the terms and conditions described in the promotional offer and remember to gamble responsibly. |

Promotion Period |
To qualify for a promotion they must be completed within a specific period (during certain hours or between a certain date). You'll find promotion period details in the Things You Should Know or Significant Conditions section.

Promotional Game |
The specific games that are included in a Promotion. The games that qualify towards the Promotion will be listed in the Promotion-specific terms and conditions.

A competition in which winners, who are selected at random, win a specific prize or prizes. |

Deposit |
A sum of money (of your choice) paid into your William Hill account via one of the permitted Payment Methods. |

Excluded Games |
Games that are not included in a Promotion. Stakes on these games won't contribute to any wagering or staking requirements. |
|
Bonus Spins / Free spins |
Additional spins that are awarded as part of successful qualification in a promotion. Winnings from Bonus/ Free Spins may be subject to wagering requirements. |
|
Minimum Stake |
The least amount required to be able to place a bet or play our Games. Some games or promotions will have different minimum stakes. |
|
Wagering Requirements |
The amount that must be staked in order to release bonus winnings into cash in the Main Balance. Once the wagering requirements are complete, the funds can be withdrawn or used to wager on non-promotional playable. |

Minimal Risk Wagering Patterns |
Using minimal risk patterns such as; low risk wagering, zero risk wagering or equal betting patterns. |
|
Irregular Betting Patterns |
An example of this is placing single bets equal to or in excess of 30% or more of the value of the bonus credited to your account, until the wagering requirements are met. |
|
Golden Chips |
The equivalent of bonus spins on table games. Each chip will have a specific value that you can place on table games. |

A bet on 1 selection in one event (e.g. the home team to win in a football match). |
|
Each Way |
A feature offered by William Hill on a bet consisting of two bets on the same selection, one for the winner of the event, and the other for the selection to place. |

Place Only |
A bet on a horse to place in the top three (i.e. third, second or first position). |
|
Multiple Bet |
A linked series of Single Bets where all of the return from the first selection is automatically staked on the second selection as a win Single Bet and so on until all the selections have won, thus giving a return, or until one selection loses in which case the whole bet is lost. |

Lucky 15 |
A type of Multiple Bet consisting of 15 bets involving 4 selections in different events. |
|
Perm Bets |
A Multiple Bet that contains more than one possible outcome in one or more events (i.e. where you bet on different permutations of a Multiple Bet). |
|
Betting Without |
A bet on a race winner where the finishing position of one or more horses is discounted for the purposes of working out if your horse is a winner. |
|
Pre-race Bet |
A bet placed before the relevant selection has begun. |
|
Unnamed Favourite |
A bet placed before the start of a race on the unnamed favourite (i.e. the horse with the lowest starting price). |
|
Unnamed 2nd Favourite |
A bet placed before the start of a race on the unnamed second favourite (i.e. the horse with the second lowest starting price). |
|
US Racing |
Bets on US horse race meetings made available on the Website or Mobile App. |
|
Pari Mutuel |
Bets on selected horse race meetings in France held under the rules of the relevant governing body and as made available on the Website or Mobile App. |
|
Pool Betting |
Any pools bets available on the Website or Mobile App. |
|
Tote Bets |
Any Tote bets made available on the Website or Mobile App. |
|
Lottery Bet |
Any lottery bets available on the Website or Mobile App. |
|
Ante Post races/Future Races |
Bets made available on the Website or Mobile App on selected horse races on which the prices compiled by us are offered up to the final declaration stage (i.e. when the final list of entries for the race is confirmed). |

Pre-match Bet |
A bet placed before the relevant selection has begun. |
|
In-play Bet |
A bet placed after the relevant selection has already started. |
|
Void |
A bet which is made void where one or more selections forming part of that bet are postponed. A postponement is where a selection does not commence on the same day it is scheduled to do so. A postponement can occur for a variety of reasons (though not exclusively): inclement weather and conditions; security/policing; power failures; or crowd trouble. |

Cashout feature |
Selected bets for which you have the option to settle all or part of a bet at the Cashout value displayed on the Website before the relevant selection(s) ends. |

Bet Boost |
Selected bets on the Website or Mobile App on which we enable customers to enhance their odds. |
