Gaming - 'Stake and Get' promotions

What is Stake and Get?

If you frequent our Gaming sites, you'll come across Stake and Get promotions: to take part, you need to 'stake' the stated amount in order to 'get' the stated amount.

Stake contributions explained

Each promotion could have different “stake contributions” attached to them.

What this means is simply that each stake/ bet you place contributes differently towards the overall wagering depending on what game you play.

Below are a few examples of stake contributions:

Certain games have a higher contribution than others do.

In simple terms, if you play on a slot game that is not one of the highlighted games with different contributions, like ‘wild gambler’ for example, 100% of your stake will contribute to the wagering.

This means that if you stake £1 and you have to wager £20 in total, the full £1 will count towards the wagering, leaving you with £19 left to wager.

Table games will also have different staking contributions.

In the example below, 20% of your stake would contribute to the wagering.

This means for every £1 you stake, 0.20 will count towards the wagering.

Using the example of £20 like earlier, it would mean you would have £19.80 remaining to wager.

With roulette in the above example, you can see the contribution is between 0-50%. Although this may look confusing, this is all dependant on how much of the table you cover. Below table lists the changes in stake contribution depending on the table coverage.

All Roulette games
Table Coverage Percent
Stake Contribution
Low Table Coverage bet:
0-25%
50%
Medium Table Coverage bet:
25.1 – 48%
25%
High Table Coverage bet:
48.1 – 100%
0%

What the above means is, if you cover between 1% and 25% of the table (5 straight up numbers for example), then 50% of your stake will contribute to the wagering.

Therefore, for every £1 you stake covering five numbers, 0.50 will contribute towards the wagering, leaving you with £19.50 remaining if you had to wager £20 to begin with.

For medium coverage, which could include for example column bets covering 33% of the board, 25% of the stake will contribute.

Therefore, for every £1 you stake, 0.25 will count towards your wagering.

For high table coverage on this promotion, none of your stakes would contribute.

This means your wagering would not lower.
