In the event of any VAR review, the final outcome of a said review will be used to determine settlement of all markets.
- Example: Should a penalty be retaken after a VAR review, the first penalty is deemed irrelevant for settlement purposes.
- Settlement will occur on the final penalty taken in that period of play.
Will a VAR review take place?
Market description: Predict whether a VAR review will take place during a match.
- For settlement purposes, a VAR review is defined as the referee halting play to consult VAR.
- A VAR review will be deemed to have occurred when there's a notification of such within the stadium (scoreboard/tannoy announcement) and/or is indicated by OPTA.
Result of 1st VAR Review
Market description: Correctly predict the outcome of the 1st Official VAR review from the following options:
- Penalty Awarded
- Penalty Rescinded
- Goal Stands
- Goal Disallowed
- Red Card Awarded
- No VAR Review Used
