Q: What is the Cash Out feature?
A: The Cash Out functionality gives you the option to cash out a bet which isn't settled yet at the Cash Out value being displayed.
- This feature is only available if the bet is still running and betting is still available on every unsettled selection.
- Partial Cash Out isn't available yet on the new version, but we're working to get that fixed as soon as we can.
- Cash Out is a functionality that William Hill cannot guarantee the availability of.
- Where applicable to eligible markets, any Cash Out request that isn't processed for any reason shall not be honoured.
- William Hill accepts no liability in this respect and bets will be settled according to the official result.
1. Cash Out is accessed in the open bets tab.
2. Bets can be fully cashed out when the Cash Out value is indicated.
- A £5.00 bet placed at odds of 10/11 have a Cash Out value of £8.43.
- To Cash Out the full value of this bet, just select 'Cash Out' and 'Confirm'.
3. Cash Out isn't available on any Each Way (EW) bets.
4. Cash Out isn't always available on Accumulator bets.

If there's a selection which isn't available for Cash Out, the whole bet won't be available for Cash Out.
5. Cash Out will be available for bets placed using a free bet (minus/less the value of the initial free bet).
6. Cash Out may be affected if your bet triggers a free bet promotion. See individual promotional terms for details.
7. Cash Out is available for selected betting markets across a variety of sports. Click here for full details of available markets.
8. If a Multiple bet is made up of both Pre-Match and In-Play markets, Cash Out will apply to each applicable leg.
- For a Total Corners double placed during play in Arsenal v Liverpool and before play in Chelsea v Stoke:
- Cash Out will be available during play in Arsenal v Liverpool and before play in Chelsea v Stoke.
- Cash Out won't be available during play in Chelsea v Stoke.
9. Cash Out is available on selected markets for all bet types including multiples and perms e.g. singles, doubles, trebles, four folds etc.
10. Single bets with a stake below £20,000 and all multiple bets regardless of stake, will be capped at a maximum Cash Out settlement value of £50,000.
11. Single bets with a stake of £20,000 or more will be capped at a maximum Cash Out settlement value of 2.5 x the bet stake up to the applicable maximum winnings.
12. The maximum Cash Out settlements will be applied to the total sum of partial Cash Out.
- If the maximum Cash Out value was £50,000 and 90% of the bet was cashed out returning £45,000:
- Any further Cash Out values on that same bet will be capped at the remaining £5,000.
13. Cash Out isn't available for Enhanced Odds and Flash Odds markets.
14. If the Cash Out settlement value has been accepted in error, the Cash Out transaction will be made void and the bet will be settled on the original bet instructions with the correct price(s) applied.
15. When an obvious pricing error occurs (also referred to as a palpable error), that selection may not be cashed out.
- If subsequent attempts are made to place bets and Cash Out on the same market(s) before the obvious error has been corrected then, the Cash Out settlement value and the bet stake(s) will be made void.
16. A Cash Out value may not be offered if betting is unavailable on one (1) or more unsettled selection within a bet.
Q: How to use the Cash Out feature?
A: Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use our Cash Out feature.
REMINDER: You won't be able to Cash Out your bet if:
- The Cash Out value goes to £0.00
- The Cash Out feature is suspended
STEP 1: Click on the 'My Bets' button.
STEP 2: When Cash Out is available, you'll see a button showing the Cash Out amount.
STEP 3: Click the 'Cash Out' button to accept the current value. Once you've clicked it, you'll have the option to either 'Cancel' or 'Confirm' for the amount shown.
STEP 4: If the Cash Out value changes, you'll see a message saying that the Cash Out value has changed.
STEP 5: When Cash Out is complete, a message will appear that says you've cashed out successfully.
Q: How to check my Cashed Out bet?
A: Here's a step-by-step guide on how to check your cashed out bet.
STEP 1: Click on the icon balance at the top right of the page.
STEP 2: Click on 'Account History' and go to 'My Transactions'.
STEP 3: By default, the information for all dates and all transaction types will show. Cashed Out bets will also show and are clearly labelled.
Q: Why can't I Cash Out my bet?
A: The Cash Out function might not be available for a number of reasons.
Here's the most common reasons:
- Betting is suspended or unavailable on one (1) or more unsettled selection within a bet.
- Enhanced Odds, #YourOdds and Flash Odds markets don't qualify for Cash Out.
- When there's an obvious pricing error (also known as palpable error).
- Cash Out option is only available for selected betting markets.
- Accumulator bets (e.g if there's a selection which isn't available for Cash Out, the whole bet won't be available for Cash Out).
- Each Way bets don't qualify for Cash Out.
- Cash Out may be affected if your bet triggers a free bet promotion. See individual promotional terms for details.
