- In the instance of a postponed race, all bets placed on that race will be void.
- A postponement is deemed to be where a race doesn't commence on the same day it is scheduled to do so in local time.
- A postponed race can occur for a variety of reasons, though not exclusively; inclement weather and conditions, security and power failures.
- As soon as we become aware of a postponed race, bets on that race will be made void.
In the instance where a race is abandoned, the following principals will be applied in settling bets:
- If a winning selection in a specific market has been established before the abandonment of the race, bets will stand and settlement will occur as expected.
- If a winning selection for a specific market hasn't been established at the time of abandonment, all bets will be settled as void.
- An abandoned race is deemed to be where a race is halted immediately on the instruction of the race officials and not completed on the same day in local time and with no rider being declared race winner.
- A race that has the scheduled number of laps reduced on the instruction of the race officials and where a rider is declared race winner won't count as having been abandoned.
- In the case of an abandoned race, any subsequent rescheduled race or award of the race by governing bodies won't count toward settlement.
Championship Betting Without Named Rider
Market description: Predict the winner of the Riders Championship without a named rider. The finishing position of the named rider will be ignored for bets placed on this market.
- Example: A bet placed on Valentino Rossi without Marc Marquez will win if:
- Valentino Rossi wins the Riders Championship and if Valentino Rossi finishes second to Marc Marquez.
- The bet will have lost in all other circumstances.
1. The Riders Championship winner will be determined by the official standings immediately following the final event of the Championship.
2. If there's a change to the scheduled venue of one or more races, bets placed on this market will stand.
3. If there's a change to the scheduled number of races, bets placed on this market will stand.
