Market description: Predict the range that contains the aggregate number of official winning distances in lengths at the specified meeting.

  • The official winning distances in lengths are calculated as follows:

    • Dead heat: 0.00 x length
    • Nose: 0.05 x length
    • Short head: 0.10 x length
    • Head: 0.20 x length
    • ¼ length: 0.25 x length
    • Neck: 0.30 x length
    • ½ length: 0.50 x length
    • ¾ length: 0.75 x length

 

1. Bets are accepted for horse race meetings held under the rules of the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) and Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) and are settled on the official result.

2. Bets are accepted at the advertised special price.

3. All odds are subject to fluctuation and bets placed will be settled at the price at the time the bet was confirmed.

4. The officially declared winning distance is calculated between the first two horses past the post that have completed the race having followed the correct course and carried the correct weight.

5. The maximum winning distance per race is:

  • 12 lengths for each flat race
  • 30 lengths for each national hunt race including national hunt flat races

6. Charity races and Arab races don't count for bets placed on this market.

7. If any race at the selected meeting has only one runner (also known as a walk-over), all bets placed on this market will be awarded a default distance of 5 lengths for flat races and 12 lengths for national hunt races including national hunt flat races.

8. Where a market is offered for one meeting, if one or two races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting, all bets placed on this market will be awarded a default distance of 2 lengths for each flat race and 10 lengths for each national hunt race (including national hunt flat races) for each abandoned or void race.

9. Where a market is offered for one meeting if three or more races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting, all bets placed on this market will be void unless the over selection in the market has been won.

10. If three or more races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting and the over selection in the market has been won, bets placed on that selection in this market will have already won and will be settled as winners.

  • Bets placed on other selections in this market will have already lost.

11. If three or more races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting and the over selection in the market has not been won, bets placed on this market will be void.

12. Where a market is offered for two or more meetings combined, a default distance of 2 lengths for a flat race and 10 lengths for a national hunt race ( including national hunt flat races) will be applied to every abandoned or void race.

13. Adjustments to settlement won't be made for amended results or adjudications made by governing bodies after the weigh-in when the official result is declared.

Favourite Performance – 3 Way

Market description: Predict the range that contains the aggregate number of points awarded for favourites at the specified meeting.

Points are allocated for the finishing position of the favourite in each race using the following points system:

  • First place: 25 points
  • Second place: 10 points
  • Third place: 5 points

 

1. Bets are accepted for horse race meetings held under the rules of the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) and Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) and are settled on the official result.

2. Bets are accepted at the advertised special price.

  • All odds are subject to fluctuation and bets placed will be settled at the price at the time the bet was confirmed.

3. First Past The Post doesn't count for bets placed on this market.

4. Charity races and Arab races don't count for bets placed on this market.

5. If any race at the selected meeting finishes in a dead heat, the points awarded will be divided equally across each affected place.

  • Example: if a favourite is involved in a dead heat for first and second place, the points awarded will be 17.5 (half of 25 points for first place plus half of 10 points for second place).

6. If any race at the selected meeting has only one runner (also known as a walk-over), all bets placed on this market will be awarded 25 points.

7. If joint or co-favourites are returned in any race at the selected meeting, the favourite will count as the horse with the lowest race card number.

8. If the favourite is withdrawn from the race before coming under starter’s orders, and a new market is not formed, the second favourite will count in this market.

9. Where a market is offered for one meeting, if one or two races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting, all bets placed on this market will be awarded a default figure of 10 points for each abandoned or void race.

10. Where a market is offered for one meeting if three or more races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting, all bets placed on this market will be void unless the over selection in the market has been won.

  • If three or more races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting and the over selection in the market has been won, bets placed on that selection in this market will have already won and will be settled as winners. Bets placed on other selections in this market will have already lost.
  • If three or more races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting and the over selection in the market has not been won, bets placed on this market will be void.

11. Where a market is offered for two or more meetings combined, a default figure of 10 points will be used for every abandoned or void race.

12. If a William Hill SP is returned this will take precedence over any other declared SP and the favourite will be determined by the final show of betting.

13. If no SP is returned the favourite will be determined by the final show of betting transmitted by our service provider.

14. Adjustments to settlement will not be made for amended results or adjudications made by governing bodies after the weigh-in when the official result is declared.

15. If three or more races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting and the over selection for both favourite performance and meeting distance has not been won, bets placed on this market will be void.

16. Where a market is offered for two or more meetings combined, favourite performance will be awarded 10 points for every abandoned or void race.

5. If there is a tie for the race with the longest winning distance, the stake will be divided equally by the number of races involved in that tie.

  • Example: If a £10 bet is placed on a race priced at 3/1 that is involved in a two-way tie, the stake will be divided by two and will return £20.

6. Charity races and Arab races don't count for bets placed on this market.

7. If a race is abandoned, declared void or has only one runner (also known as a walk-over), bets placed on that race in this market will be void and bets placed on other selections in this market may be subject to a Rule 4 deduction.

8. If one or two races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting, bets placed on this market will stand.

9. If three or more races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting, bets placed on this market will be void.

  • 6/4 = 1.50 points

9. If the named jockey rides in a race that has only one runner (also known as a walk-over), that race won't count towards this market.

10. If one or two races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting, bets placed on this market will stand.

11. If three or more races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting, bets placed on this market will be void unless a winning selection has been established in this market.

12. If three or more races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting and a winning selection has been established in this market, bets placed on that selection in this market will have already won and will be settled as winners.
