What kind of platforms are available for playing poker?
William Hill Poker currently offers 2 platforms for playing poker:
- Download Software: Download the most advanced poker software
- Instant Play: Play No-Download instant play poker
What do I need to do to install poker software?
It couldn't be simpler to install the poker software - just visit our Download Software page.
The Poker software download will then start automatically as soon as the launch takes place.
When downloading the software for the first time, our Step by Step guide will help you through the installation process.
How do I register an account with William Hill?
To register for a William Hill online account, please click here and click on the 'Join' button.
On the account registration page, we'll need you to provide certain information for security reasons:
- Your name and contact details, including a valid email address which needs to be unique to your account
- Your date of birth - you must be at least 18 years old
- A unique username (your username may contain only letters, numbers, underscore and hyphen symbols) and a password which means only you can access your account
- Your betting currency and a deposit limit
- A security question and the answer
Our registration page checks your details as you enter them and will let you know if there's a problem, so you can make any changes you need to before you click on the 'Agree and Join' button.
I already have a William Hill account. Will I need to open a new account for poker?
If you already have an existing account with William Hill, there's no need to set up a new one.
All WH download software utilizes a shared login and wallet that allows you to play across all WH products.
Simply download the poker software to start playing.
Can I play without downloading the software?
Yes, our "Instant Play" platform is available if you don't want to go through the process of downloading our software.

Can play poker on mobile devices (phones/tablets)?
There's no option to play poker on mobile devices at the moment but it will be available later on in the year.
Currently, Poker is available on desktop via our "Download" or "Instant Play" platforms.
How do I make a deposit into my William Hill Poker account?
There are three ways to deposit funds into your William Hill Poker account. You can make a deposit from William Hill Poker software, William Hill Poker website or William Hill Poker Instant Play.
How do I deposit from William Hill Poker software?
Open and log into William Hill Poker software, then click on Cashier.
If you already have a payment method registered the page will automatically display your details, if not select and add one of the payment methods. Type the amount and click Deposit.
Your account will be automatically credited and confirmation screen will appear.
How do I deposit from William Hill Poker website?
Go to William Hill Poker website, log in then select Deposit. Choose your payment method, enter the amount and click Deposit.

How do I deposit from William Hill Poker Instant Play?

How can I transfer funds between Poker and Sports Betting?
There are three ways you can transfer funds between Poker and Sports Betting accounts into your William Hill Poker account.
It can be done from William Hill Poker software, William Hill Poker website or William Hill Poker Instant Play.
To carry out the balance transfer from William Hill Poker software, please follow these steps:
- Log into William Hill Poker software, then click on Cashier.
- Select Transfer tab
- In Detailed Balance you will see your available for transfer balances. Set the account you wish to transfer funds from and to by using the drop down function then enter the amount
- Select Transfer Funds
Confirmation of transfer will be displayed on the next page.

- Select Transfer Funds
