How to Register your Debit Card


Using a Debit Card 

This is applicable to William Hill UK.


Customers must ensure that the correct details are used when you register your debit card on your account. If the details used are incorrect, you will not be able to deposit via this payment method.

When registering your payment method, please ensure the details are spelt correctly to avoid any errors surrounding this process.

If you are unable to deposit via a previously used or new card and wish to use this card going forward, we will require the below documents. These can be provided by using our secure Document Uploader.

 

1. Front and back copies of the card used.

  • The first six (6) and last four (4) digits should be visible on the front of the card, while the middle six (6) digits should be covered.
  • You also need to cover the security code (last three (3) digits on the back of your card)

 

2. Front and back copies of your photo identification.

Here's the list of IDs we accept:
  • Driving License
  • Passport
  • National ID Card
 

3. A copy of a statement for the card used or proof of registered address.

  • Should show your full name, address and the issuing body's name or logo.
  • For UK residents: Issued in the last three (3) months.
  • For non-UK residents: Issued in the last six (6) months.
  • If sending a card statement, please block out your bank card number if it appears.

 

4. Proof of Name Change (if applicable) such as:

  • Marriage Certificate
  • Decree Nisi
  • Deed Poll

TIPS ON GETTING IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME:

  • Photo captured or scanned images are preferred.
  • Make sure that the information on your documents is legible and the edges of your document are visible.
  • Birth Certificate, Payslip and Mobile/Phone bills aren't accepted as valid documents.

OTHER NOTES:

  • All details must be clearly visible.
  • The first six (6) and last four (4) digits should be visible on the front of the card, while the middle six (6) digits should be covered.
  • You also need to cover the CVV or the last three (3) digits at back of your card for your security.
