William Hill Poker is designed to provide gaming entertainment to responsible and consenting adult players.
Minors under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from accessing and playing on our platform.
Any instances of minors found playing at William Hill Poker will result in a permanent ban from our site.
We prioritise the safety and well-being of all our users and are committed to maintaining a secure environment for adult players.
Can I create more than one (1) poker account?
To ensure fairness, the William Hill Poker Policy allows each player to have only one (1) active William Hill Poker account.
Once an account is activated, poker aliases cannot be changed.
Should any duplicate William Hill Poker accounts be detected, they will be promptly closed.
We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a level playing field for all players on our platform.
What is Collusion and why is it forbidden?
Collusion is a form of cheating where two or more players work together to gain an unfair advantage.
It encompasses various illegal activities, such as:
- Chip Dumping: When any player deliberately loses a hand to deliberately transfer their chips to another player.
- Communications: Found sharing hole card information, providing undisclosed information, creating coordinated strategies, hands through signals or in a different language to another player.
If you suspect collusion among players at your table, please report the incident by referring this to Customer Support providing as much information as possible.
Should anyone, based on our reasonable judgment, be found in breach of any section of this policy, William Hill reserves the right to impose restrictions on player accounts, including account closure and confiscation of any remaining balance.
Our priority is to maintain a fair and enjoyable gaming environment for all players.
What kind of software or devices are prohibited?
Any ‘Software Aids’ or devices that provide unfair advantages, such as poker bots, automated scripts, tools utilising artificial intelligence, or tools that assist in decision-making during gameplay, are strictly prohibited.
We want to ensure a level playing field for all players.
Prohibited tools and services:
- Tools and services that allow for any type of collusion between players, such as showing cards.
- Tools that assist players to select games in accordance with player identity.
- Tools or websites that reveal and share information about other players against their will, such as game statistics and overall earnings.
- Any type of tool that performs any action on behalf of a player at the table.
- Any tool or program that collects information about other players at the tables in the player’s absence.
- Any tool or program that provides game advice in real time based on the actions of the other players at the table.
- Enables you to find a seat at a poker table or automatically seats you at a poker table.
What tools and services are allowed?
The following types of tools and services are generally accepted but William Hill Poker does not make any guarantees regarding the functionality, reliability, or safety of these 3rd party tools and services.
The use of these tools is solely the player’s responsibility.
Permitted Tools and Services
- Tools that provide you with basic game statistics and information that could be useful to beginners, such as hand strength and pot odds indication.
- Tools which provide you with basic-level advice about the game such as opening hand charts.
- Tracking software that calculates and displays in-game statistics which are intended to help you organise the information that you already have access to as a player at that specific table.
- Tools that improve your experience without influencing the game itself or providing any advice (for example enhanced display, keyboard shortcuts and improved visibility), (collectively "Permitted Aids").
For the avoidance of doubt, this does not include any software program or external aid which, in our opinion, enables you to find a seat at a poker table or automatically seats you at a poker table. (As stated in the prohibited software and devices section above.)
Can I use software that helps me analyse opponents' play?
No, you are not permitted to use any software that allows any form of real-time assistance.
Fair competition is essential to a balanced and enjoyable poker experience.
What is ‘Table camping’ and why is it forbidden?
Table camping is when the “Sit Out” feature has been abused for excessive periods of time.
The "Sit Out" feature is only intended for taking short breaks between extended periods of play.
It is not intended for use while no play is taking place at the table, or for waiting on players to join or leave the table.
Some players exploit the option as a way of avoiding paying some blinds and play a disproportionate number of hands from the button.
William Hill Poker reserves the right, at our discretion, to take action against players we deem abusing the “Sit Out” function for excessive periods of time.
Repeated abusers of the “Sit Out” feature may be restricted from participating in our poker games either temporarily or indefinitely.
William Hill, as a responsible operator, fully acknowledge the importance of taking regular breaks and knowing your limits but propose that consistent and prolonged breaks be achieved by leaving the table and not relying on the “Sit Out” functionality.
Is data mining or sharing hand histories allowed?
Unauthorised data mining, collection or sharing of hand histories, player statistics or other related information is strictly prohibited.
The use of external sources or databases, for unfair advantage, is prohibited.
Can I share or transfer my account with another player?
Sharing or transferring accounts between players is not permitted.
Each player must have their own account and may not access or use another player's account.
The transfer of funds or chips between accounts is also prohibited.
How can I report suspected violations?
We encourage you to report any suspected violations immediately.
You can contact customer support or use the reporting mechanisms available on the platform.
Your reports play an important role in maintaining a level playing field.
What are the consequences of violating this policy?
Violations of this policy may result in various consequences, such as warnings, temporary or permanent account suspensions, or forfeiture of winnings.
William Hill takes violations seriously and may also take appropriate legal action if necessary.
1. In the event of a poker fraud investigation, William Hill is under no obligation to accept any explanation provided for the receipt or use of fraudulent funds.
- If such an investigation is resolved, and your account is reopened, William Hill may remove the amount of fraudulent funds from your bankroll.
2. Suspected fraudulent behaviour, with regard to poker play involving your account and any other players, will be investigated and any such activity will prompt action we reasonably believe is necessary (including blocking said accounts and retaining any funds therein).
3. Due to data protection policies, William Hill is unable to provide information regarding any third party, details of investigations, or whether these have affected your account in any way.
4. William Hill will cooperate with any competent authority investigating such an incident, and funds will be retained by William Hill, until we have received sufficient instructions from the competent authority to either unblock said accounts, or release any portion of the retained funds back to the accounts affected.
