How can I reverse a withdrawal?
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
• Reverse withdrawals were no longer allowed for customers in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland since 30th June 2020.
• As we’ve shortened our processing times to support Visa Direct (enabling 4-hour withdrawals), the reverse withdrawal window for all card withdrawals has been reduced.
• You may only reverse your withdrawal while it appears as 'pending' in your William Hill account.
A: Reversing a withdrawal is a way to cancel a requested withdrawal, if you've changed your mind.
If you've made a withdrawal from your William Hill account and it's still showing as 'pending' then you can cancel/reverse it and the money will go back to your balance immediately.
Step 1: Log in to your account and click on the balance icon.
Step 2: Click on 'Deposit' or 'Withdraw':
From the 'Deposit' section:
- If you have withdrawals that are pending you can reverse them instead of depositing.
- Click on 'reverse these withdrawals' and all your pending withdrawals will be returned immediately to your account balance:

- You can also reverse your pending withdrawals from the 'Withdraw' section.
- Click on 'reverse these withdrawals' and all your pending withdrawals will be returned immediately to your account balance:
Once your withdrawal has been successfully reversed you'll see a confirmation and your balance will be updated:

A: The above steps will work on desktop or mobile web, but there's also a 'Reverse Withdrawal' section available.

A: No, reversing a withdrawal won't count towards your deposit limit.
Your deposit limit allows you to set rolling daily,weekly or monthly limits on the maximum amount of money you can deposit from your nominated card or payment method.
Q: What are the timescales for reversing my withdrawals?
A: If you've made a withdrawal from your William Hill account and it's still showing as 'pending' then you can cancel/reverse it and the money will go back to your balance immediately.
