1. Ante post prices are compiled by William Hill and are offered on selected races up to the final declaration stage, which is when the final list of entries for the race is confirmed.
2. If the selected horse is balloted out of the race, bets placed on that horse at ante post prices will be refunded.
3. One or more runners will be balloted out of the race out if the number of entries exceeds the maximum permitted number of runners at the final declaration stage.
4. If the selected horse is withdrawn from the race for any other reason at any point in time, bets placed on that horse at ante post prices will have lost.
5. We don't offer Cashout on any Ante post Horse Racing.
6. An ante-post bet will be made void under the following circumstances:
- The race is cancelled and isn't run.
- A horse is balloted out under the rules of racing.
- The race is run at an alternative venue to the one originally scheduled.
- Entries for the race are re-opened.
7. An ante-post bet will stand under the following circumstances:
- The race is run on a different date from the one originally specified, but at the original venue.
- The entries for the race aren't re-opened.
- If entries revert back to a previous declaration stage, this won’t count as entries being re-opened and all bets will stand.
Rule 4 Deduction and Withdrawn Horses
1. If a horse is withdrawn after the final declaration stage and before coming under starter's orders, or is officially deemed by the starter to have taken no part in the race, stakes will be returned on the withdrawn horse and winning bets will be subject to deductions in accordance with Tattersall's Rule 4.

In multiple bets, the deduction will only apply to parts of the bet specifically involving the withdrawn horse.
2. The rate of deduction will be based on the following scale:
3. If a horse is withdrawn and a new market is formed, all bets placed at show prices prior to the new market will be subject to the above deductions.
4. If two or more horses are withdrawn before coming under starter's orders, the total deductions shall not exceed 90p in the £.
5. If further horses are withdrawn after a new market has been formed, bets placed at show prices prior to a new market being formed will be subject to a further deduction based on the prices of all withdrawn horses.
6. Bets placed in the new market will be subject to a deduction based on the current price.
7. If the total deduction on the market is 5p in the £, the deduction will be waived.

3. Bets will be settled on the official result at William Hill prices.
- If a William Hill price hasn't been taken or SP is requested, bets will be settled at the William Hill SP.
- Pari-Mutuel or Tote bets of any sort aren't accepted.
4. Each way bets will be settled in line with the following Industry Standard place terms, unless special William Hill place terms are available at the time the bet is struck, in which case they will supersede the Industry Standard place terms.
5. Forecasts and tricasts will be settled at the dividend calculated from the last William Hill price prior to the start of the race.
6. If the selected horse is withdrawn from the race before coming under starter’s orders, bets placed on racing from Asia will be void.
- If the selected horse is withdrawn from a race after coming under starter’s orders, bets placed on racing from Asia will have lost as the horse will be deemed to have been a participant in the race.
- If the selected horse is withdrawn from a race after coming under starter’s orders, but is declared a non-runner by the official race steward, bets placed on racing from Asia will be void.
- If a horse is withdrawn after the overnight declarations and before coming under starter's orders, or is officially deemed by the starter to have taken no part in the race, stakes will be returned on the withdrawn horse and winning bets will be subject to deductions in accordance with a Rule 4 deduction.
7. If the surface of an individual race or whole race meeting is changed from turf to track or vice versa, bets placed will stand.
8. If a meeting is abandoned, bets placed on horses at that meeting will be void.

France Pool Betting
1. At meetings where no William Hill prices are available:
- Bets where no price has been taken will be settled at the guide SP transmitted by our service provider.
- If there's no guide SP available bets will be settled at Pari-Mutuel or Tote odds.
2. At meetings where we specifically advertise that Pari-Mutuel or Tote bets are available in addition to William Hill prices:
- If Pari-Mutuel or Tote hasn't been requested and no price has been taken, win and place bets will be settled at William Hill SP.

2. Bets are accepted for international horse race meetings held under the rules of the relevant governing body providing that betting markets are directly available on www.williamhill.com and our shop screens.
3. Single bets only are accepted.
4. Bets will be settled on the official result.

- If a William Hill SP isn't available, bets where no price has been taken will be settled at the guide SP transmitted by our service provider.
- If no guide SP is available, bets will be void.
- Pari-Mutuel or Tote bets aren't accepted unless specified otherwise.

International Pool Betting
1. All bets are placed in accordance with our betting rules and terms and conditions.
2. Bets are accepted for international pool betting held under the rules of the relevant governing body providing that betting markets are directly available on www.williamhill.com.
3. Where Pari-Mutuel or Tote bets are accepted, but aren't transmitted into the pool, bets will be settled on the official result at the returned dividends from the respective race course.
4. Win and place single bets are the only bets that are accepted.
- The place part of win and place bets will be settled in accordance with the returned place dividends.
- Other bet types, such as doubles, trebles, forecast and tricast etc., that are accepted in error in shops or by telephone will be void.
5. Bets aren't accepted on unnamed favourites.
6. If two or more horses in the same ownership are coupled, bets placed on one of those horses will include every horse under the same number (1, 1a, 1b, etc.) or letter (a, b, c, etc.).
7. If a coupled horse is withdrawn from the race, bets placed on that horse will count for the remaining horse(s) under the same number (1, 1a, 1b, etc.) or letter (a, b, c, etc.).
8. Bets placed on coupled horses apply to the win pool only for horse race meetings from Europe.
9. If the surface of an individual race or whole race meeting is changed from turf to track or vice versa, bets placed will stand.
10. If a meeting is abandoned, bets placed on horses at that meeting will be void.
- If a race is abandoned, or has only one runner (also known as a walkover), bets placed on horses in that race will be void.
11. Adjustments to settlement won't be made for amended results or adjudications made by governing bodies after the official result, also referred to as the weigh-in.
Harness Racing, Trotting and Pacing
1. All bets are placed in accordance with our betting rules and terms and conditions.
2. Bets are accepted for harness racing, trotting and pacing held under the rules of the relevant international governing body providing that betting markets are directly available on www.williamhill.com.
3. Bets will be settled on the official result at the returned Pari-Mutuel or Tote dividends from the respective race course, unless a guide SP is transmitted by our service provider, in which case this will be used to settle bets.

- If the selected horse is withdrawn from a race after coming under starter’s orders, but is declared a non-runner by the official race steward, bets placed on US fixed odds racing will be void.
- If a horse is withdrawn after the overnight declarations and before coming under starter's orders, or is officially deemed by the starter to have taken no part in the race, stakes will be returned on the withdrawn horse and winning bets will be subject to deductions in accordance with a Rule 4 deduction.
11. If the surface of an individual race or whole race meeting is changed from turf to track or vice versa, bets placed will stand.
12. If a meeting is abandoned, bets placed on horses at that meeting will be void.
