How can I track a card withdrawal with my bank (ARN)?

What is an ARN & How do I request one?
The letters ARN are an abbreviation of 'Acquirer's Reference Number', and this number is used to track card transactions.

If you're querying a card withdrawal, having the ARN will allow your bank to trace the transaction. Follow these simple steps to get your ARN for the withdrawal(s):

  1. For Visa Direct withdrawals: before you request the ARN please ensure that at least 1 full day has passed (weekends included) since your withdrawal was successfully issued. E.g. for a withdrawal processed on 31st May, the ARN can be requested on 2nd June.
  2. For all other card withdrawals: before you request the ARN please ensure that at least 5 working days have passed since your withdrawal was successfully issued.
  3. Double check with your bank that the funds haven't been received.
  4. Take note of the amount/date/card details for the withdrawal.
  5. Contact our Customer Service team and provide the above details to our agent and request an ARN.
You'll be sent your ARN via the registered email address on your account within 1-2 working days of the request. Once you've received the ARN, contact your bank and give them the provided ARN, so that the missing transaction can be traced within their system.
