Do you charge a fee for my account?

If you're an active account holder, you'll face no fees or charges.

However, if your account remains unused for 13 consecutive months and has a positive balance, a monthly administration fee will apply for the maintenance of the William Hill account.

Before we start taking this fee from your account balance, we'll notify and assist you in case you want to make use of your account again.

This monthly fee will be deducted on the 28th day of the month your account becomes inactive, and on the same date each month thereafter (whilst it remains inactive).

IMPORTANT: Since June 2020, we decided to temporary suspend the notification and the administration of the inactive fee.

This means that if your account was intended to become inactive from July 2020 and onwards, the monthly administration fee won't apply.

However, if your account became inactive on June 2020 and backwards, the monthly administration fee will still apply.

Q: I want to withdraw my balance to avoid this fee but have less than the minimum withdrawal limit?

A: Click here for instructions on how to do this.

The monthly fees to be applied to all inactive accounts are as follows:

  • 5% of your remaining account balance or the monthly charge as shown in the table below (whichever amount is highest).

Additional Information:

  • The fee is displayed on your account statement as 'Inactive Account Fee'.
  • Should your account balance be less than any Inactive Account Fee to be deducted, only the available balance in your account will be taken.
  • Once your account balance reaches zero, no further Inactive Account Fees will be taken.
